One of our school classmate 10 A 89 batch and a very good person Vaibhav Musale is suffering from Decompensated Cronic Liver disease and is advised for ‘liver transplant’. It is due to “Auto Immune Disorder”.
His Liver got deteriorated over the years and he needs Liver transplant as life saving measure. Vaibhav is teetotaller (non-alcoholic). Vaibhav’s wife is doing the running around. 3 senior doctors opinion were taken and all the doctors re-confirmed that he has to go for ‘Liver Transplant’. He is now registered for Liver transplant at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. He is currently waitlisted for cadaver liver organ at Appollo Hospital – H’bad / Chennai / Bangalore.
The approx cost of the surgery + post operative medication is 35 Lacs. Scanned copy of the letter issued by Appollo Hospital is attached for ready reference.
Challenges are :-
1. Vaibhav has limited relatives and more of friends (We are fortunate that we are getting an opportunity to do something for our friend)
2. His wife is working and running the house including his monthly medical cost which is currently around Rs.25,000/-pm,.
3. Vaibhav is not working for past 3 years due to his illness and we got to know about this recently. He doesn’t want to be burdensome on others but now it is a question of his life and death.
4. As of now, Funds raised through family personal contact + mediclaim + mortgaging house are Rs.19 lakhs – We have a good shortfall of Rs.15 Lacs.
YOUR URGENT help needed –
1) If u know any NGOs/trusts/generous people and You can personally go and help to get Financial Help pls do check the possibility.
2) Can you lend a financial help (whatever sum you can) – bank account number for wire transfer / Cheque deposition at given below.
Dear Mrs. Patki,
Is Vaibhav currently in Mumbai or Hyderabad? We would like to meet with him. How is Mr. Ghate related to Vaibhav?
We appreciate your efforts on behalf of your friend. It is wonderful to have friends stand by you during times of crisis.
The requirement is big but not unsurmountable if we can collectively contribute, an ocean is after all made out of many drops of water.
One of my cousins residing in Thrissur has been advised to undergo a REPEAT kidney transplant ( the earlier one was done about 10 years back or so )
Being from a family of limited means and already racked by the costs of the first transplant and associated costs over the years , they are at their wits end as to how to arrange the huge amount that is needed for the surgery including the payment to the donor
I would sincerely appreciate any help you could offer in mitigating the hardship facing this family

· At the heart of the project is free access to a high quality education: a school, from kindergarten to end of secondary education or vocational training. “learn while you play, and play while you learn”; the key is the children’s happiness to learn.
