Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust, an initiative of Mahatma Gandhi, was established in the early 1945, for the welfare of women and children of rural India. Today, the KGNM Trust has spread its wings with many regional centers, each one being independent enough to address the issues of local concern and welfare.
